The AJRMHS and the Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria [MDCAN], RSGHs are committed to meeting and upholding the highest standards of ethical behaviour at all stages of the publication process. We uphold the guides and norms of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME).

Editorial Autonomy: The Editors and the Editorial board function with autonomy and independence in the editorial and financial decision-making processes of the journal in accordance with the WAME and ICMJE recommendations.

Conflict of Interest: The AJRMHS requires authors and reviewers to declare and complete the declaration of interest section in the author submission and peer review process.  All submitted manuscripts must include a ‘competing interest’s declaration’ as outlined in the author guidelines section. Authors are expected to list all competing interests (financial and non-financial). Where authors have no competing interests, the statement should read, “The authors have declared no competing interests.” Editors and reviewers are also required to declare any competing interests and will be excluded from the peer review process if a competing interest exists.

Plagiarism:  AJRMHS will subject all manuscripts to plagiarism checks following submission and through the manuscript review processes. Authors are therefore advised to utilize plagiarism software to ensure their manuscripts comply with plagiarism standards. Manuscripts with significant plagiarism will be rejected, and the author(s)’ institution may be notified.

Privacy Policy

This policy contains information regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal data and states guidelines governing any information under the possession of AJRMHS. By continuing to use this site, you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy as amended periodically. All personal information entered in the journal’s website will be used exclusively for the stated purposes for which it was sent to this journal. It may also be used for statutory or other legitimate purposes. It will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party. AJRMHS and the Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria [MDCAN], Rivers State Government Hospitals (RSGHs) chapter are committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information. Adverts are however, not published on the same page as scientific publications in compliance with our publication ethics.
